Coaching for people ready to act

My work starts with a simple, persistent question:

What are you going to do about it?

This isn’t about endless processing or waiting for clarity to arrive on its own.

It’s about finding a better perspective, choosing a direction, and taking action – even when the path isn’t obvious, and especially even when it’s scary.

My job is to shine a light on what’s possible, so you can find the courage to walk your own path.

How I work

I coach by helping people:

  • see situations more clearly and from multiple angles,
  • identify where they have choice and agency (and where they don’t),
  • experiment thoughtfully rather than overthink endlessly,
  • and turn insight into action.

Every engagement is grounded in real situations: conversations that aren’t going well, leadership challenges that feel stuck, change initiatives that are creating friction, or decisions that require both judgment and courage.

We’ll talk. We’ll think. We’ll always come back to what you’re going to do differently.

And it’s not all going to be terribly serious. Playfulness matters. Curiosity, experimentation, and a bit of lightness make real change possible.

This is a good fit if you:

  • are an experienced manager or leader, not a beginner,
  • are thoughtful, introspective, and willing to examine your own patterns,
  • are open to ideas and willing to push back when something doesn’t fit,
  • show up prepared and engaged,
  • are interested in acting, experimenting, and learning – not just talking.

This is probably not a fit if you:

  • are looking for emotional support without movement,
  • want advice or direction without owning the decision,
  • prefer open-ended venting over problem-solving,
  • are unwilling to try things between sessions.

That’s not judgment. It’s about fit.

Format & boundaries

Coaching engagements are intentionally bounded.

  • Work begins with a minimum of three sessions.
  • Sessions are focused on specific challenges or decisions.
  • Continuation beyond the initial engagement is by mutual agreement, not default.

This protects the quality of the work for both of us.

If this approach feels right to you, reach out via my contact page with a brief description of your situation, what you’re grappling with, and what you hope to do differently as a result of coaching.

If it looks like a fit, we’ll schedule time to talk.

Not every inquiry results in an engagement.

That’s intentional.

Fit matters.
